We are looking for an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer/Consultant with 7+ years of expertise in data integration and ETL development to implmenet complex code migration and integration projects. This role is pivotal in migrating data from legacy systems (Cobol) to modern ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, leveraging Informatica Data Exchange for workflows.

If you’re proficient in SQL, data modeling, and working with hierarchical file formats (XML, JSON, COBOL, EDI), this is the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact.

πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using tools such as Informatica PowerCenter and Data Exchange.
  • Lead and execute data migration from legacy systems (e.g., Cobol) to modern platforms.
  • Create and optimize database models and write advanced SQL queries for data processing.
  • Develop and process hierarchical file formats (XML, JSON, COBOL, EDI).
  • Configure and manage secure file transfers via MFT (Managed File Transfer) may also be part of the scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Document technical designs, oversee testing and QA, and support deployments.

βœ” Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and data modeling, with proven experience optimizing databases and queries.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or .NET).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with hierarchical file formats (XML, JSON, COBOL, EDI).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while providing regular progress updates to the team.
  • Work authorization in the USA and availability during EST hours.

✨ Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare domain projects, particularly in the USA.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Exposure to cloud-based ETL tools like Informatica IDMC or other platforms.
  • Full-stack development knowledge is a plus, though not required.
