Senior DBT + Snowflake Developer (Brazil)

About the Opportunity
Our US-based client is hiring a Senior DBT + Snowflake Developer to lead data engineering initiatives. This role is 100% remote, with direct hiring by the US client, and candidates must be located in Brazil or Costa Rica.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt (Core/Cloud) models and transformations in Snowflake.

• Design and optimize data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for dbt projects.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams across the US and Latin America.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security within Snowflake.

• Lead technical design, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with dbt (Core/Cloud) and Snowflake.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault, etc.).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

• Familiarity with version control (Git).

• Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).

• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in an international environment.

Experience Level

• 6+ years in data engineering/BI.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with dbt + Snowflake and CI/CD.

• Previous leadership experience is preferred.

• Work Model: 100% Remote.
