QA Data Engineer- Advanced English

We’re urgently hiring two QA Data Engineers to join our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) delivery teams. We're looking for professionals with experience in data testing, automation, and cloud (GCP), who can ensure the quality, integrity, and performance of data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test strategies and test cases for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Validate structured and unstructured data, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
• Automate tests and monitor failures in data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define quality requirements.
• Document defects, validation rules, and scalable data governance practices.
• Conduct regression testing, post-implementation validation, and support root cause analysis.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Proven experience in data QA or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Familiarity with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage) and Python.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with automated data testing tools (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt).
• Understanding of the client's data and business processes.

Bonus:

• Certifications in GCP or software testing.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Programming skills in Java or Python for test automation.
