Mid-level DBT + Snowflake Developer (Brazil)

About the Opportunity
Our US-based client is hiring a Mid-level DBT + Snowflake Developer to support data engineering initiatives. This role is 100% remote, with direct hiring by the US client, and candidates must be located in Brazil or Costa Rica.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt (Core/Cloud) models and transformations in Snowflake.

• Contribute to development tasks, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support under guidance.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for dbt projects.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams across the US and Latin America.

• Help ensure data quality, governance, and security within Snowflake.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with dbt (Core/Cloud) and Snowflake.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault, etc.).

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

• Familiarity with version control (Git).

• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.

Experience Level

• 3+ years in data engineering/BI.

• Practical experience with dbt + Snowflake and exposure to CI/CD practices.

• Work Model: 100% Remote.

• Location: Must be based in Brazil or Costa Rica.
